Aideé Granados. Founder & CEO
Aidee Granados was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. She decided to share the wealth of knowledge from her experience with those in the community she serves. Founding Rosa Es Rojo in 2016 became a passion for her. She recognized the need for more health and wellness resources for Latinas as a high-risk cancer population.
At the time of her diagnosis, Aidee was newly married, raising a toddler, living in a foreign country and with zero family members around her. As far as she knows, she is the third generation of cancer patients in her family: her grandmother, mother, and father (even her stepmother) passed away from cancer. Back then she decided that it was not going to be her turn and decided to SuperVive, not only survive, her diagnosis. Even though Aidee had an amazing medical team based in Northern California, she could not find enough information and resources in her own language and realized the enormous need that other Latinas have to be educated in wellness in order to make healthier choices to prevent cancer and other chronic diseases. Rosa Es Rojo was born.
